Intellectual Property

LLF's attorneys have litigated numerous intellectual property disputes in such areas as copyright infringement, trademark infringement, trade secrets, false advertising and unfair competition. Those disputes involved a wide array of industries, including software design, garment design and manufacturing.

Among the matters that LLF or, at prior firms, its attorneys have litigated include the representation of a software designer in an action alleging the improper use of particular source codes or their derivatives; the representation of a multinational manufacturer of automotive parts in an action involving the alleged misappropriation of trade secrets; and the representation of a manufacturer of food processors in a dispute under the Lanham Act for alleged false advertising.
