LLF has extensive experience in construction disputes, having represented general contractors, building owners, managing agents and architects in a wide array of litigations and arbitrations, often involving highly complex architectural and mechanical designs. Among the matters in which LLF has been involved are these:
- LLF represented the building owner and managing agent of one of the ten largest buildings in New York in a lengthy arbitration involving the installation of fire alarm and security systems in multiple floors totaling more than 1.5 million square feet.
- LLF represented the general contractor in a suit against the building owner arising from alleged delays and defects in the multi-million dollar renovation of a midtown commercial property.
- LLF represented a commercial tenant, an internationally known designer and manufacturer of interior decorative products, in a dispute against an architectural firm under a design-build contract for the renovation of its New Jersey corporate headquarters.
